NYC Diary: Saturday landed in New York

Outfit details:
Vintage Star wars top from Spinns Harajuku// zara mustard wide leg pant

Landed in New York in the morning of September 12nd, 2015. It was a long journey from Bangkok to New York and I was suffering from jetlag. Unfortunately due to my tight schdule I had no time to rest. So I just checking in at the hotel and heading to Rebecca Minkoff fashion show venue. Phew...Just in time!

Everyone is seated and ready for the show! I saw instruments in the middle of the stage and wonder who will be playing and excited to see  was reading through run off show and found that BORNS will be performing. I was really excited since I am a fan of his psychedelic indie-pop music. I think he has released his first debute last year and I was really glad to hear that there's still some amazing artist making great songs out there in the mordern music scene. No offense, but I literally almost giving up on modern music. Anyhow, I felt amazing to see beautiful collection from Rebecca Minkoff, while enjoying cool live music. BORNS was performing Seeing stars and Electric love.

Some of my favourite looks from Rebecca Minkoff SS16 Runway.
The collection inspired by the modern day Marianne Faithfull with the perfect combination of sweet and rebellious. Models walked down the runway with 60s mod blowout hairstyle, A-line dress, chunky bangles, and big hoop earrings. The designers also injected boho spirit of the 70s with details like plunging neckline, suede, fringe, studs, leather, and the knee high gladiator sandals.

Sorry for the quality of the video in advance. It's a little shaky but just want to show you the vibe of the runway.
  Garrett Borns!

After the show I went to Brooklyn with my twin sister who flew all the way to New York from London.
It located in the schoolyard of Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School features more than 100 vendors selling vintage clothes, accessories, decorations, arts, and food.
Academy Records 85 Oak St, Brooklyn, NY 11222
If you are a music lover and collect vinyls, you will definitely in love with Academy Records. They offer wide selection of used and new vinlyn. All records are well arranged by genres. It is by far the coolest and biggest vinyl store I'ver ever been. My sister and I spent an hour there and bought so many awesome vinyls at a very good price.
